Ensign Downs Homes for Sale

Located just to the north of the Capital Hills area and to the west of City Creek Canyon lies Ensign Downs. This north bench community features homes built from the 1950's through to the 2000's. Many of the homes were built in the 1950's and 1960's and are some of the cheaper options. Generally speaking the further up Ensign Downs you travel, the newer and more expensive the homes. The most expensive homes run into 7 digits.

In addition to the main community a couple of private exclusive gated communities are located in this area.

North Cove is a gated community located in the North East part of Ensign Downs. Started in the early 1990's North Cove features some of Salt Lake's prime lots, with some of them over 7 acres, and homes exceeding 20,000 Sq. Ft.

Dorchester Pointe is another gated community located on the west side of Ensign Downs at the end of Dorchester Drive. Homes in this community offer great views of the Great Salt Lake and the Salt Lake Valley.
