Home Buying Advice - Don't Buy a Car
Why you should not buy a car or make any big purchase when buying a home.
Don't Buy a Car
When determining the size of mortgage a lender will provide you, one of the criteria taken into account is dept. Basically the more dept you have, the smaller the mortgage loan amount you will be offered. So if you are tempted to splash out on a new car (or any other large purchase), you may want to reconsider. Wait until after you have seen a loan officer, and ask them how it will impact your mortgage application.
