Comparable Sales Pending Transactions
In a fast moving housing market or in areas where home sales are few and far between the most accurate home price information is available from pending transactions, i.e. homes which are under contract but have not yet closed. The problem is that the sale price is not available until the transaction closes and has been recorded.
The only way that this information can be gained is by asking the Realtor who is selling the property. The best person to do this is your Realtor. Now the other Realtor may choose not give out the price or may only give you an indication of the price but any information is better than none.
