4th Quarter 2006 Housing Market Update
Salt Lake County again saw strong home price appreciation in the forth quarter 2006 with most zip codes seeing double digit increases. The highlight of the quarter was Holladay (84117) where prices went up 48.82% compared to the same time last year.
The chart below shows the median home prices for the Q4 2006 compared to 4th quarter 2005. The chart covers the Salt Lake County area of the Salt Lake Valley and is broken down by zip code.
Please note that quarterly price changes can result in large fluctuations, especially when there are very few homes sold.
